New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft will miss the National Football League’s annual meeting due to family medical matter.
The 69 year old Kraft was one of the best significant owners in labor meeting with NFL players and he is one of ten members of the organization Council Executive Committee. Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Mike Vrabel has came out as a leader in the labor talks on the player’s side.
Robert Kraft bought the New England Patriots in 1994 and since team has appeared in the five Super Bowl and 12 playoffs. He was very active in NFL league matters. Kraft was the chairman of the NFL league’s broadcast committee and he also serves on the compensation, finance and NFL Network committees.
New England Patriots president Jonathan Kraft, who frequently attends NFL meetings, he was scheduled to arrive on Sunday night along with Robert Kraft’s son. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will also attend the annual meeting.
New York Giants owner John Mara said that, Robert Kraft was the one of the best owner in the NFL league and he was the most prominent owner.
Robert Kraft will not attend the meeting due to some personal family medical issues. The Unsigned patriots left tackle Matt Light conveyed his annoyance with Robert Kraft’s lack of absence along with an influential owner. Kraft also missed out the recent labor mediation meetings in Washington due to previous scheduled business trip to Israel. There has been warm response to the NFLPA advice to the incoming rookies, which avoid the NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall.
Several NFL officials expecting that, this is a bad move by the NFLPA. The quarterbacks are under more pressure than the other NFL players in the lockout. Bill Belichick expected to attend here on Tuesday. He has already seemed in the New Orleans after he spent more than a week in the Florida. The 2011 NFL draft is going to be held in Radio City, New York. Several Rookies are showing their interest in the 2011 NFL draft. The first round will takes place from 28th April, 2011.
