Philadelphia Eagles has been offered first round selection for the quarterback Kevin Kolb; he was drafted by the first round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played his college football at University of Houston.
Philadelphia Eagles head Coach, Andy Reid and general manager, Howie Roseman feels that they will get a better offer if they will wait until the NFL Draft 2011. General Manager, Howie Roseman did not announce any comments on Kevin Kolb trade to Philadelphia Eagles. He said that, team is having a lot of interest in quarterback Kevin Kolb. Philadelphia Eagles cannot finish a trade for Kevin Kolb till the date of new collective bargaining agreement has been reputable. Sources stated that Kevin Kolb had played well, when he was given a chance. He is also the good starter of the game.
The 26-year-old Kevin Kolb got the Conference USA Offensive Most Valuable Player of the Year award in 2006. Kolb started for two games in place of the injured Donovan McNabb in 2009 NFL season for the Philadelphia Eagles. He got the NFC Player of the Week award in the week 3 seasons for his best performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. He signed a four years contract with Philadelphia Eagles for $4.285 million on 25th July, 2007. Philadelphia Eagles should wait till 28th April to trade the Kolb in the first round of NFL Draft 2011. In the 2011 NFL Draft quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert and Cam Newton will be the hot names for the teams.
Sources stated that, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals are looking for the quarterback for their respective teams. They are planning to trade a quarterback in the first round of NFL Draft. At the end of the 2010 NFL season, Kolb stated that he want to become the Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback for the next season. Kolb made 11 of 14 touchdown interceptions, 2,082 passing yards and he is having quarterback rating at an average of 73.2 per game. Arizona Cardinals is also planning for the new quarterback Marc Bulger for the next NFL season.
