Arian Foster, the NFL’s leading rusher in 2010, on Wednesday has undergone an arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Houston Texans running back, Foster has rushed for 1,616 yards, had cartilage damage during the Pro Bowl on Jan. 30. Foster while speaking with the carious sources has said that, the period of three weeks rest will recover the injury.
Foster, the NFL’s leading rusher in 2010 has undergone the operation to repair cartilage damaged, which he has suffered during this Pro Bowl. The NFL’s leading rusher had complained about pain in the knee upon returning from Honolulu, but opted to just take it easy for a few weeks before determining if an operation might be necessary.
For athletes injuries on ‘knee’ and ‘surgery’ are scary. Foster might be able to play within the next three to five weeks were the Texans in the middle of the season.
According to various sources, John Butler, special team’s assistant, has become the special teams coach at the University of South Carolina. John Butler earlier was the special teams coach for University of Minnesota before the Texans hired him to help coordinator Joe Marciano.
