New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who has not participated in the training session on Thursday afternoon, where he is suffering from left ankle injury.
The 22-year-old Rob Gronkowski has sustained left ankle injury in the third quarter against Baltimore Ravens on Sunday’s AFC Championship, where they won the match with a 23-20 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft and he is used to play college football at the University of Arizona. Report says Rob Gronkowski was spotted in a walking ankle boot recently and hopes to return back strongly for next match.
New England Patriots has been looking very busy in training session, as the team preparing for the Super Bowl against New York Giants, schedule to kick off on 5th February. Rob Gronkowski is considered to be one of the crucial players in New England’s offense, where he had 90 catches for 1,327 yards including 17 touchdowns and also holds a single-season record. Fellow teammate tight end Aaron Hernandez said it’s unfortunate to miss his partner Rob Gronkowski in practice and hopes to come back soon into the team.
New England Patriots have signed with practice squad tight end Carson Butler, who had spend most of the 2010 season in training, he was released by the team on 2nd September.
