Roy Williams got his engagement ring back as he asked for the ring to be recovered in the law suit filed. Cowboys’ Roy Williams deal with engagement ring is reportedly all over as Daniels returned back to him.
Williams filed a suit against Brooke Daniels to get back the ring, which the receiver sent in February as part of a marriage proposal. The case is scheduled for hearing on Friday but as the ring was recovered the court administrator Tina Gurule stated that told the hearing has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
However, Gurule wasn’t sure the ring was valued at $76,600, had been returned to Williams. Michael Daniels, Brooke’s father said that he is planning to return back the ring. Michael added that he will be taking care of her daughter.
Cowboys’ wide receiver has filed law suit on June 30 in Ector County District Court, asking to return the engagement ring and also mentioned $5,000 for school and dental bills. Williams has sent Daniels the money and a baseball for her brother. However, Daniels rejected the wedding proposal and refused to return the ring as per the law suit. Later Daniels claimed that ring was lost which is also mentioned in the law suit.
Roy Williams has signed six-year contract with Cowboys in 2008 with $45 million after being picked from Detroit Lions.
