Tennessee Titans running back, Chris Johnson targets the Eric Dickers NFL record as he was not voted for MVP in the 2009.

Eric Dickers has rushed 2,105 yards which is the highest in the NFL history. Chris Johnson is targeting the Dickers record and wants to become the first man who ever run 2,000 yards more than once.

“I’m shooting for 2,500, but I’ll be happy with anything over the record,” Johnson said.

Chris Johnson was disappointed for not receiving a vote for MVP. Chris Johnson said that it is not easy to run 2,000 yards twice in a career. However, Johnson is aiming for 2,500 yards.

Tennessee Titans coach, Jeff Fisher believes that it is hard to get faster. Chris Johnson is practicing at new position after Kennedy Pola leaving for Southern California.

Chris Johnson was not joined with Tennessee Titans during their offseason as he is seeking $30 million deal in guaranteed money. But, Tennessee Titans denied the Johnson’s demand. Later, Johnson has agreed to continue with the team after discussions with management. Finally, Chris Johnson reported on time for training camp.

On Wednesday night, Chris Johnson said that there no progress in his talks with Tennessee Titans. He also said that his goal is to rush for 2,500 yards this season.

Chris Johnson has received an ESPY award 2010 on Wednesday night. Chris Johnson has missed all the team’s offseason workouts of Tennessee Titans.

Chris Johnson denied all the rumors that his agent and Tennessee Titans are in discussions about converting incentives into a $2.5 million bonus which makes him to earn more money this year.

“I’m letting my agent and the team handle that. Right now we’re at a standstill, and hopefully when camp starts we’ll have an outcome,” Johnson said.

Chris Johnson is looking for long-term deal which worth’s $30 million. Chris Johnson said that he will feel with a short-term pay hike. On the other side, Johnson is interested in joining the Tennessee Titans offseason workouts.

Kyle Wilson was taken by the New York Jets with the 29th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Kyle Wilson is quick and agile corner and was a threat on special teams as well as a lock-down corner. Kyle Wilson was the lead punt returned by averaging 10.4 yards per return and also good at corner, recording 43 tackles and 3 interceptions on the year.

Boise State is returning 22 of its 24 Fiesta Bowl starters and would expect to field an extremely similar squad for 2010. But Coach Chris Peterson sees it differently.

“This is a great situation for coaches to have and I hope the lineup looks much different than it did in the Fiesta Bowl,” Coach Chris Petersen said on Thursday during his first spring press meeting. “That’s our goal as coaches, to constantly upgrade talent. If one of our younger guys can beat out an older guy, that’s the way we want it here.”
