John Beck has spent his offseason imagining that he would be starting as quarter back for Washington Redskins’. When the NFL lockout finally lifted on Monday, Beck raced to Redskins Park to start workouts.

Beck who has came for workouts so early shows his intention how eager he is to make an impact this season. However Donovan McNabb likely to be released or traded, Beck has been told he will have a shot at the starting job. Beck and McNabb are the only two quarterbacks currently on Washington’s, but Rex Grossman should be re-entering soon this season.

The quarterback Beck added that they are going to re-sign Rex, definitely. Franchise has have told him the situation and It will be a competition and the healthy completion in sports is need to be accepted at any point of time.

Beck was the third-string quarterback for most of last season, backing up Grossman after he removed McNabb in December. All Beck wants is a fair competition, he never has seen himself as the reserve player.

He was the second-round draft pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2007. Beck will turn 30 in August, said that he has spent his time of this offseason researching NFL quarterbacks who found success later in their career.

Donovan McNabb was present for the workouts of the Eagles on Wednesday. The quarterback, Donovan McNabb was traded by Philadelphia to the Washington Redskins in early 2010. He has joined some of his former teammates for a workout at Power Train in Cherry Hill, New Jersey before dropping on the field at the Memorial Sports Complex. He has joined his former teammates that include Jamaal Jackson, Trevor Laws, Austin Howard and Juqua Parker.

McNabb has said that he is just focused on working out and it is what he does in the offseason. He added that working with a great group of guys did a wonderful job of preparing those guys and so he was just looking forward to it. In several statistical categories, McNabb is the Eagles’ franchise leader and was in the region for the dedication of the McNabb Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Voorhees Replacement Hospital.

The former center of McNabb, Jackson has said that the quarter back has helped to keep the mood light during the workouts. He told that it was refreshing hearing the laugh and the chuckle that they could probably hear from a mile away and it was really good seeing him. He added that however he has gone through a lot and it is been publicized, he has been a strong guy throughout and as far as he has known him and he will definitely pull through.

John Beck and Rex Grossman have been actively campaign for the Washington Redskins’ starting quarterback job. Bruce Allen, the general manager insists the team not to regret trading for its previous occupant, Donovan McNabb, in spite of the uncertainty the situation has caused.

Bruce Allen has said that they would make the move again to get Donovan. During a recent interview, he said that the 6-10 record is not what he had dreamed for their season. He added that he can’t pinpoint one person to blame for that; they have to improve special teams, defence and offense.

The Washington Redskins’ manager, Bruce Allen has attended the Langley, Va. School while his father George worked for the Redskins did not blame McNabb for the last season’s anguishes.

Allen has played down speculation the McNabb had trouble adjusting to the system run by offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. He said that he thinks that they gelled very well at times. He added that it was the first year for everybody with the Washington Redskins and it also takes time to in order for people to learn the other person’s desires.

Donovan McNabb was benched in the fading moments of 31st October game against the Detroit Lions and also for the final three games of the season in favor Grossman. He will be a free agent when the lockout ends.

Donovan McNabb: On Monday, Washington Redskins have extended the Donovan McNabb’s contract for five years. Redskins schedule has been trending on internet.

Donovan McNabb signed on new deal with Washington Redskins. The deal will be for five years and it’s worth $78 million and he will receive $40 million in guaranteed money.

This is very amazing decision by the Washington Redskins. Earlier, Redskins coach, Mike Shanahan’s decision over McNabb in their game against Detroit Lions became controversial. Shanahan called off McNabb at the two-time offense.

After the game, Mike Shanahan made two different comments that McNabb can’t handle the game at the last minutes. On the next day, Shanahan says they had few doubts about McNabb’s injury during the end of the game.

Donovan McNabb did not perform well in this season so far and this is the worst performance of him since he was rookie.

Donovan McNabb is representing Washington Redskins in the NFL regular season 2010.

For the first time in his career, Donovan McNabb is playing against Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. However, McNabb is expecting good welcome from the Philadelphia fans at Lincoln Financial Field.

Philadelphia Eagles traded Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins during offseason. Donovan McNabb is preparing mentally to play against his former team for the first time.

“Honestly, I think I will be more cheered,” McNabb said. “No matter what the situation is, right now I’m with a different team and it’s a rival and it wasn’t my choice. We had a successful 11 years. We had a lot of exciting plays and obviously some down times, but there were more exciting things in 11 years.”

Philadelphia Eagles traded McNabb to take Kevin Kolb. Later, Eagles have taken Michael Vick in the place of Kevin Kolb as Kolb is struggling with injury. Michael Vick has started in the week 2 game against Detroit Lions and week 3 against Jacksonville Jaguars.

Sunday’s game will be the crucial game for Washington Redskins. Redskins have only one game in their three regular season games. They defeated Dallas Cowboys in the first game. In the second and third games they lost against Houston Texans and St. Louis Rams.

New Orleans Saints’ NFC Championship win got him a Pro Bowl nod.

“For selfish reasons, I’m a Saints fan. They got me here,” London Fletcher said, a 12-year pro but first time Pro Bowler who will be playing in the place of Vilma in the starting lineup.

“I’m here now so I’m thankful, blessed to be here. Once I knew I was going to the Pro Bowl, I was so excited about it that I didn’t sleep for two days. To be here and see some of the best players in the league, it’s good.” he added.

This is good for London Fletecher and bad for Super Bowl-bound players, who was ruled out for Pro Bowl. Seven players from each team were replaced in the teams, which includes some of the biggest players. Biggest players like Peyton Manning and Drew Brees were sidelined and second fiddle quarterbacks Tony Romo, David Garrard and Donovan McNabb are joined.
