We’re approaching the middle of July and before you know it we’ll be at the end of August, meaning there will be college football.

The Miami Dolphins welcomed back a familiar face today when they signed DE Jason Taylor to a one-year $1.1 million deal, reports ESPN.
Taylor cited the need to be with family as the main reason for his return to the Dolphins.
Miami is listed as a 4-point road underdog for its Week 1 regular season game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The minute Brett Favre was released by the New York Jets the rumors about a move to the Minnesota Vikings began immediately.
According to ESPN, Favre and Vikes coach Brad Childress will meet sometime this week to discuss whether the QB will join Minnesota.
Favre is still recovering from a torn bicep and the Vikings are listed as 3-point faves for their Week 1 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
