Baltimore Ravens vs. Indianapolis Colts Live Streaming Online

nflLast week Baltimore went into New England and handily beat a Patriot team that had won their last 11 home playoff games. This week they travel to Indianapolis to take on the winning-est team of the past decade in an 8 p.m. start on Saturday, Jan. 16.

Going into the New England game as a 3.5 point underdog, most people felt that the Patriots’ mystique and past success in the postseason would be too much for the Ravens to overcome. Thanks to an 83-yard touchdown run by RB Ray Rice on the first play from scrimmage and a forced fumble by Terrell Suggs on the Patriots’ first possession of the game, Baltimore jumped out to a 14-0 lead early in the first quarter and never looked back in their 33-14 wild-card playoff win. Was This The End Of The Patriots Era Atop The NFL?

nflWas the Patriots’ loss to the Ravens in Sunday’s wild-card loss an epitaph to the franchise’s run atop the NFL for the past decade?

After Sunday’s game, Ravens WR Kelley Washington, a former Patriots player, yelled out: “The era is over!”

Is it so? Consider:

* The Patriots, lauded in many corners as the NFL’s team of the 2000s, have now gone five straight seasons without a Super Bowl title. (more…)

New England Patriots Vs. Buffalo Bills NFL Week15 Result

nflResult: New England 17, Buffalo 10

So much for all those accusing Randy Moss of quitting. Same thing for anyone wondering whether the New England Patriots are vulnerable this season.

No matter how inconsistently the Patriots have played — particularly on the road — or what distractions they’ve faced, one thing remains constant: They can always count on beating their perennial patsy, the Buffalo Bills.

A week after being accused of giving up by Carolina Panthers defenders, Moss bounced back with five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in a 17-10 win Sunday. And Tully Banta-Cain anchored a banged-up defense with a three sacks in a victory that lacked style points, but accomplished what’s most important by inching the AFC East-leading Patriots (9-5) closer to clinching a playoff berth. New England Patriots vs Indianapolis Colts Week10 NFL Match Result

nfl

Box Score C0lts 35, Patriots 34

Coach Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots has won three Super Bowls, but he lost a fourth-down, go-for-it gamble here Sunday night that was as unconventional as it was unsuccessful.

“If we had made it, we win,” said Belichick, whose team didn’t make it and lost.

The Indianapolis Colts moved on with a 9-0 record after beating the Patriots 35-34 on Peyton Manning’s 1-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Reggie Wayne with 13 seconds left. The Patriots (6-3) flew home after a numbing defeat that was summed up in three words by quarterback Tom Brady.

“It was a bummer,” said Brady, who threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns.

The Patriots led by 17 points early in the final quarter. They led by 13 with 4:12 left.

They led by six, 34-28, with just more than two minutes left. That’s when they faced fourth-and-2 at their own 28-yard line. After calling a timeout, Belichick decided not to punt. The Patriots went for it.

But Brady’s pass to Kevin Faulk gained just a yard after he was tackle by Melvin Bullitt. When officials brought in the sticks for a measurement, New England had come up about a half-yard short.

At the two-minute warning, the Colts took over on downs at the New England 29. Manning won it with his pass to Wayne four plays later, the fourth TD toss of the game for Manning. (more…)

New England Patriots vs Indianapolis Colts Week10 NFL Picks

nfl

Tom Brady’s New England Patriots and Payton Manning’s Indianapolis Colts will both be trying to pick up a win on Sunday night at 8:20 PM ET when they battle at Lucas Oil Stadium, but more than a victory is at stake.  These two teams have been perennial AFC Championship and Superbowl contenders and both are back competing at the highest level.  Indy is undefeated and atop the AFC South at 8-0 while New England has a two game lead in the vaunted AFC East.  Ego and testosterone will be at a premium, so my NFL week 10 picks say give the points the fans will be the difference at home with another win and cover for the Colts.

The Patriots beat a good Miami team 27-17 as an 11-point favorite in Week 9. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (47). Tom Brady threw for 332 yards with a touchdown and an interception for New England and Randy Moss had a big day caughting six passes for 147 yards with a touchdown in the win. New England is 15-2-1 ATS in its last 18 games when playing on the road against Indianapolis and the total has gone UNDER in 4 of New England’s last 5 games on the road. (more…)
