Now Buffalo Bills Trainer Turn Regarding Starcaps

20081204_zaf_m42_002.jpgMinnesota Vikings defensive tackle Pat Williams blamed a trainer on his former team, the Buffalo Bills, for getting him involved with StarCaps, the over-the-counter diuretic that contains a banned substance.

He said in the case yesterday that the trainer told him that “everything was legal” with StarCaps, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Williams, who is suing the league along with teammate Kevin Williams, apparently took the stuff to get rid of fluid from his body due to gout. They want to get out of the four-game suspensions the league gave them in 2008, but obviously it means more to them than just that. (more…)

Antonio Bryant deal with Cincinnati Bengals

20081228_zaf_s70_002.jpgNFL star player Antonio Bryant has agreed to a four-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday.

As per the sources, Antonio Bryant’s contract is worth $28 million. With incentives, he could make as much as $29 million. Receiver Chad Ochocinco has been lobbying for the Bengals to sign Owens since the end of last season, when the Bengals’ passing game lacked a deep threat.

“There’s always been the speculation and perception out there and Chad kick-started it and lobbied to have me here as a teammate and I welcome it with open arms,” Owens, who made a visit to the Bengals, told the Cincinnati Enquirer. (more…)

New Orlean Saints is in another Celebration

New Orlean Saints win their Super Bowl Championship title after 43 years and four weeks for NFL Films and Warner Home Video to complete a commemorative video recapping the best season in franchise history.

Kevin Williams proved his genuinity

nflMinnesota Vikings defensive lineman Kevin Williams got the positive results in the tests that he never took steroids. Kevin Williams sued the National Football League over leaked drug-test results.

As per the teammate suggestion, Kevin Williams took StarCaps in order to lose weight at the start of training camp in the year 2006, Williams testified in state court in Minneapolis. Kevin Williams and other player Pat Williams, later tested positive for bumetanide, an ingredient in StarCaps banned because it can mask steroids. (more…)

NFL Player suspended for eight games

nflMiami Dolphins player Jason Ferguson was suspended for eight games of next season for breaking the NFL’s drug policy conditions, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed on Sunday.

Jason Ferguson, 35 year-old also suspended for the same reason in the year 1999 after an anabolic steroid showed up in a urine test. That time he was out for four games. But, now he was suspended for more games than previous as this is the second time.

Before drafted by the New York Jets he also faced some allegations for marijuana at the scouting combine in the year 1997. He played seven seasons for the New York Jets. (more…)

Two-time Pro Bowl player signed for Jacksonville Jaguars

nflTwo-time Pro Bowl defensive player  Aaron Kampman signed on agreement with Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday. The terms and conditions of this agreement is not revealed yet. Aaron Kampman agreement is very helpful for the Jacksonville Jaguars and is expecting good results from this star player.

Another star player Kassim Osgood also signed with  Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday.

NFL star player retiring on Thursday

nflWashington Redskins star player Chris Samuels is going to announce his retirement for the NFL on Thursday.

Washington Redskins six-time Pro Bowl left tackle Chris Samuels is not playing matches since last season. He was ruled out due to banging heads with a defensive player against Carolina Panthers on October 11 and that time his neck was injured and doctors told that it is very dangerous to try to play again.

Samuels played with a condition called stenosis, a narrowing of the spine for many years. He always used to ware a large brace behind his neck while on the field. (more…)

NFL Star Player underwent Neck surgery

nflIndianapolis Colts star player Peyton Manning has created a lot of pains for his opponents from the last 12 seasons, but now its a time came for his Neck surgery.

Peyton Manning is a four-time NFL MVP award winner. As per the officials of Indianapolis Colts, Manning had surgery in Chicago to fix a pinched nerve. But not expecting that it will not create any problems for the availbility of next season and also told that he was in hospital on Tuesday and discharged yesterday.

“All medical personnel involved believe the issue has been resolved,” the team told. “Peyton fully expects to participate in the Colts’ off-season program this spring.” (more…)

Suh and McCoy are top at NFL Scouting Combine

nflNebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh performed well at NFL Scouting Combine and is seperating from Oklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who is the highest-rated player in the NFL Draft.

St.Louis rams are going to select Ndamukong Suh.  Ndamukong Suh pressed 225 pounds bench 32 times and ran 40-yard dash in 4.98 seconds.

Ndamukong Suh showed his massive power in 35½-inch vertical jump, which is one of the best ion NFL combine history. He performed well at every drill. (more…)

New York Jets releaving Jones this Week

nflNew York Jets is going to release running back Thomas Jones this week.

New York Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum told that they will cut ties with Thomas Jones.

“Thomas joined us three years ago and has been a productive, passionate leader both on and off the field who has served as a positive influence for our younger players,” Tannenbaum told. “We were fortunate to acquire Thomas and wish him the best.” (more…)
