There is news about a new deal between NFL players, Mike Holmgren and Browns and Jake Delhomme, 35. Coming off his worst season as a pro, has agreed for a two-year contract to play for the Browns, his agent, Rick Smith mentioned in his e-mail. But, the Browns are not confirming adding Delhomme because the contract hasn’t been signed yet. On Thursday, Delhomme visited the Browns after playing the last seven seasons with Carolina Panthers.
First, Holmgren sent a conditional 2011 draft choice to the Seahawks for quarterback Seneca Wallace, whom Holmgren coached in Seattle from 2003-2008. Next, on Tuesday, the Browns’ president released Derek Anderson, who played five seasons for the Browns. (more…)
