NFL sources says that St. Louis Rams and NFL free agent, Terrell Owens are in deep discussions regarding the deal.

St. Louis Rams has approached Terrell Owens through his agent, Drew Rosenhaus for a long-term deal. Rosenhaus says that Owens will consider the proposal. The Rams may announce the formal offer for Terrell Owens on Monday.

The St. Louis Rams hopes that, Terrell Owens join will boost up their wide receiver unit includes Donnie Avery, Laurent Robinson and rookie Mardy Gilyard.

On the other side, Cincinnati Bengals are also discussing with Terrell Owens. Earlier, Cincinnati Bengals signed free-agent receiver, Antonio Bryant during the offseason but they are not satisfied with Bryant and looking for another receiver. St. Louis Rams are very quick to capture Terrell Owens and the final decision of Terrell Owens will be announced within the next two or three days.

On Tuesday, Cincinnati Bengals coach, Marvin Lewis said that they drop their decision to recruit Terrell Owens and they are also not interested to add any receiver. Terrell Owens visited Cincinnati Bengals early in the offseason.
