St. Louis Rams believes that their deal with No.1 overall pick, Sam Bradford will be finalized by Thursday. St. Louis Rams are much concerned in picking Sam Bradford.

On Tuesday, St. Louis Rams coach; Steve Spagnuolo said that they had to cancel the discussions with Terrell Owens as he confirms to play for Cincinnati Bengals. Hence, they are looking for Sam Bradford.

“We took everything into play and we came up with a decision, and I really want to talk about the 2010 Rams,” Spagnuolo said.

Steve Spagnuolo said they are discussing with Sam Bradford and the deal may be finalized soon. Steve also said that Sam Bradford is looking to join the St. Louis Rams training camp.

Sources say that the deal between St. Louis Rams and Sam Bradford ranges between $45 – $5Sam Bradford0 million. In the last season, Detroit Lions has paid $41.7 million for the No.1 overall pick, Matthew Stafford on a six-year deal. Steve Spagnuolo insists that A.J. Feeley will be the starter in the first training camp.

St. Louis Rams accepted a deal with second-round pick, Rodger Saffold ahead of rookie drills. Rodger Saffold is likely to start at right tackle as Rams traded Alex Barron to the Dallas Cowboys. St. Louis Rams are also in discussions with Brian Westbrook. If they do not finalize the deal with Sam Bradford, then he may miss the first two days of rookie workouts. So, St. Louis Rams are eagerly waiting for the response of Sam Bradford.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is unable to participate in the full training sessions. Steven Jackson had a back surgery in April which will not allow him to practice freely. Offensive lineman, Mark Setterstrom remains doubtful for the season due to triceps surgery last month and it takes four to six months to recover completely. Steve Spagnuolo is looking to place Mark Setterstrom on non-football injury list.
