Drew said that Dr. James Andrews has performed the surgery to the same knee in which Owens tore his meniscus in last year.
Rosenhaus said that the old injury has been repaired and Owens is many months into recovery and doing fantastic. He said that no predictions on training camp but Owens comes back fast from injuries. He also told that he won’t rule him out of anything and he will be a staring receiver for someone this year. However, Rosenhaus has declined to say how the latest injury occurred. But, one source said that it happened while Owens was taping a segment for his reality show, and also another source said that the receiver got injured himself during his personal workouts.
Till now, Owens had 72 catches for 983 yards including nine touchdowns last season for the Cincinnati Bengals. Terrell Owens was placed on season-ending injured reserve on 21st December, which is one day after surgery for his torn meniscus.
