Terrell Owens made some interesting comments about Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones. Terrell Owens has signed on one-year contract with Cincinnati Bengals last month.
Terrell Owens was acquired by Cincinnati Bengals from Dallas Cowboys. Dallas Cowboys was not interested to release Terrell Owens, but Owens was succeeded in convincing Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones. They both had deep discussions during the Terrell Owens release and Owens declined to disclose the meeting details.
“A lot of people know what happened,” Terrell Owens said. “It was a tough decision fo
r Jerry. I think if Jerry had the ultimate decision, then I would be there. By no means do I feel that I left that team because of talent. Obviously, there have to be some other factors.â€
Terrell Owens has played three seasons for Dallas Cowboys. Terrell Owens caught 235 passes for 3,587 yards and 38 touchdowns during those two seasons. Owens has also got a four years extension for his contract before the 2008 season. At the end of the season, Owens was released by Dallas Cowboys as he had a spat with quarterback, Tony Romo and offensive coordinator, Jason Garrett.
Later, he played for Buffalo Bills in the 2009 season and signed with Bengals before starting the Bengals training camp.
Terrell Owens insists that he wants to continue with Cincinnati Bengals and he is not seeking any offer from Dallas Cowboys. Terrell Owens is happy to play with Cincinnati Bengals and their coach, Chad Ochocinco.
