Texas senior safety Christian Scott was arrested by the police officials on Monday night near his apartment, where he also suspended by the team.

Texas safety Christian Scott was suspended from the team after he was jailed and charged with misbehavior assault with bodily injury and taken him to the Travis County Jail. The Scott was jailed at about 1 pm on the Monday night in the 300 block of East Yager Lane. The Austin police officer said that, Scott will charge under a Class A misbehavior, which will brings a most of one year in jail or a fine of up to $4,000.

The team coach Mack Brown said that, senior safety Christian Scott has been suspended from all activities with our football team. He added team will not take him, till the legal process is complete. The Scott had started 10 games on last season and he made 53 tackles and one interception for Texas.

Mack Brown said that, Scott had played a crucial role on last season, where it was Scottâ€™s first arrest in 16 months. Texas has lost six football players, who were arrested from the summer of 2009 to the spring of 2010. Mack Brown said team officials will talk with Scott family about this incident.
