Tom Brady was crowned as No. 1 NFL Network’s ‘The Top 100 Players of 2001’ by the NFL players on Sunday night. After completing a 10-week voyage that has generated as much controversy, before coming down to yet another battle between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
The Patriots’ Super Bowl winging quarterback has settled with Manning at No.2 and with Vikings running back Adrian Peterson at No.3, and the two Ravens LB Ray Lwis and Ed Reed at No. 4 and No. 5.
Tom Brady has said that it is the greatest of all time to him to Lindsay Soto through phone. He added that Manning is a friend of him and someone that he always watch and admire as he always wants to improve. He added that the always wants to get better and he doesn’t settle for anything less than the best. He told that when we watch the best and we are able to learn from the best, hopefully it helps him get better.
Deion Sanders, the NFL Network analyst has ranked Brady to No. 1 and has applauded the players’ vote by saying that the list there, the players got the No. 1 pick right, and he does it with less. Brady said that it was very flattering. He said that he have been thinking very fortunate over the years to play with an incredible organization and an incredible group of players. He concluded that this year was really a great year for their team and in the regular season, they accomplished some great things.
