Tony Romo Injury: Dallas Cowboys quarterback; Tony Romo will not require surgery for his left clavicle fracture. Tony Romo injury is a big blow for Dallas Cowboys.
On Tuesday, medical reports disclosed that Tony Romo will not need surgery for his broken left clavicle. Dallas Cowboys coach, Wade Phillips says that Romo will require six to eight weeks to recover completely and probably he will be unavailable for the rest of the season.
Dallas Cowboys have been struggling due to lack of form and they lost five games and won only one game in this regular season so far.
“I tried lifting my shoulder and it hurt like heck, but I was like, ‘OK, it will just keep getting better,’” said Tony Romo. “The adrenaline of the game will allow me to [play], it’s my left shoulder, I don’t need to use it too much. I will figure out a way what I can handle when I’m out there, but that was before I knew it was broken.”

Tony Romo suffered his left clavicle fracture during the second quarter in Monday’s game against New York Giants after finishing a pass to Miles Austin. Romo left the field with the help of trainers and doctors. Earlier, Romo struggled with same problem with his right shoulder.
Jon Kitna is likely to continue in the place of Tony Romo for the rest of the season.
