Christian Ponder, the rookie quarterback of Minnesota Vikings has leaded the workouts ahead of his teammates. The Vikings workouts were filled with most of the veteran players who supported Ponder in his first workout with the new team.
Minnesota Vikings wide receivers Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin and Bernard Berrian, running back Lorenzo Booker and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe were likely to join the seven players who have been working out on Tuesday at the IMG Madden Football Academy but they were no-shows Wednesday as the reports.
The first round pick of Vikings Christian Ponder said that, he was thinking of he should he hard and should be better prepared to play under the senior pros. They will be planning for a minicamp and many of the players is expected to be joined the workouts in the minicamp. Ponder has been spending some time with senior players and share his ideas about the game with some of the other players need to be hold out. There some good players around the team and they have been working hard.
Mistral Raymond, who was added to the Wednesday workout, he is a defensive back and a sixth-round pick. He just grew up a few away miles from IMG’s campus joined the quarterback Ponder, tight end Kyle Rudolph and center Brandon Fusco as Vikings rookies at the workout.
Philadelphia Eagles safety Nate Allen and Indianapolis Colts pick Drake Nevis, a defensive tackle, also participated in Wednesday’s workout.
