On Monday afternoon, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager, Jerry Jones said that they are making few changes in the team. This is very crucial decision for Dallas Cowboys in the middle of the NFL regular season 2010.
On Sunday, Dallas Cowboys were defeated by Green Bay Packers with 45-7 huge difference. Dallas Cowboys have been struggling due to lack of form this season and they won only one game and lost seven games in this season so far.
Cowboys owner, Jerry James frustrated with the team performance on Sunday and fired Wade Phillips as a warning to the players and other coaches as well. Cowboys could not score even single point in the first, third and fourth quarters against Green Bay Packers.
Wade Phillips has got the two-year contract extension in 2010 after their first playoff win in a decade.
“An in-season coaching change is not something I’ve done before, something I was reluctant to do as recently as last week,” Jerry Jones said. “But I think what’s best for the organization and the fans are a coaching change.”
Jerry Jones announced the Jason Garrett as an interim coach for Dallas Cowboys and appointed Paul Pasqualoni as the Cowboys new defensive coordinator.
Dallas Cowboys have entered this NFL regular season 2010 with huge expectations of Super Bowl XLV.
